Full Stack: Navigating the Changing Shape of Work in the Age of AI

Based on AI at Work, this keynote explores how AI is reshaping roles, teams and whole organisations — and how to prepare people for it. Audiences learn how to redesign work for human–AI collaboration and build organisations that thrive, not just survive, as agentic working arrives.

02

Leading AI: The AI Nervous System

A practical framework for moving beyond AI experiments. Like the human nervous system, an AI-ready organisation needs a brain (intelligence), a gut (intuition and ethics) and hands and feet (execution) working together. Ideal for leadership teams ready to build capability that lasts.

03

Wrestling with AI Ethics

A thought-provoking guide to the ethical questions every organisation now faces — from sustainability and carbon footprints to digital twins, deepfakes and the legacy our choices leave. Audiences leave with practical tools for making good decisions about AI in an uncertain future.

Control-Alt-Delete

A framework for reinvention drawn from JP’s time at LEGO and Amazon Alexa: take control of what you can, listen for the signals, explore alternatives, think diagonally — and have the courage to delete what no longer serves. For teams facing disruption and ready to unlearn.

Your session description

“Full Stack Ministry: How to Put AI to Work in Faith-Based Organisations”

In this session James Poulter, author of AI at Work (Bloomsbury) and founder of ThreePoint, the AI enablement firm, will help ministry leaders understand how AI is transforming the world of work — and what it means for churches, ministries and faith-based organisations.

We’ll explore the impact agentic working is already having on staff, volunteers and congregations, what it takes to build a full stack ministry, and how to equip people to work alongside AI without losing what makes the work human.

04 · AV & stage

Speaker requirements

Share this with your AV team. Every venue is different — if something here isn’t possible, just tell us and we’ll work around it.

Stage & presentation

  • Wireless headset microphone

Preferred, as James moves around the stage. A lavalier works as a backup.

  • High-top table on stage

James runs the presentation from his own laptop, so it needs a home on stage.

  • HDMI input at the high-top

Feeding the main screens. 16:9 projection or LED.

  • Wireless presentation clicker

  • Power at the high-top

    For the laptop charger.

  • Audio from the laptop to house sound

Some sessions include short video clips.

  • Confidence monitor

    Nice to have, not essential.

Workshops

  • Tabletop whiteboards or flip charts

One per table, with dry-erase markers.

  • Sticky notes and pens

  • Reliable Wi-Fi for attendees

Hands-on sessions use laptops or phones.

  • Cabaret-style round tables

    Groups of 5–8 work best.

On the day

  • Tech check before the session

Around 15 minutes, ideally before doors open or in an earlier break.

  • A named on-site contact

Someone James can reach on arrival.

  • A secure place for belongings

Green room or office during the session.

  • Water on stage

About slides

James doesn’t submit slides in advance. AI moves fast, and he updates content right up to the session so your audience gets what’s current. If you need something for a holding slide or the event app, we’re happy to send a title slide and the session description.

Recording & livestreams

If you plan to record, livestream or share the session afterwards, let us know when booking so we can confirm the details with you.
